Hol-Platform is pleased to present Please Identify, a solo program by Li Kejin at TANK ART FESTIVAL 2026.
Featuring a selection of new paintings alongside works from Li Kejin's ongoing Strangers series, initiated in 2023, the presentation continues the artist's exploration of portraiture, identification, and psychological alienation.
In Kejin's paintings, figures appear familiar yet remain difficult to identify. Faces, gestures, and expressions become increasingly detached from stable identities, leaving the subjects suspended between recognition and estrangement. Through this ambiguity, Kejin examines how we perceive, identify, and project meaning onto others.
